A community struggles as more drug-dealers move into Chinatown

The Chinatown Safety Committee is made up of residents, businesses, schools, churches and hospitals from the neighborhood. The committee’s ultimate concerns are safety and quality life of Chinatown. It meets on the first Wednesday of every month to discuss the safety problems of the community and ways of combating them. The committee members come from and represent the following organizations:

Boston Police Department
Doubletree Hotel
Oak Terrace
Boston Chinese Evangelical Church
Emerson College
Boston EMS

Boston Mayor’s Office
Asian Community Development Corporation
